Four things to check on a curcumin report
- The method. Is the figure from HPLC or a simpler test? The numbers are not directly comparable.
- The sample. Does the report refer to this batch, or a typical one?
- The lab and the date. An old report on a new lot proves little.
- The basis. Is the figure on a dry basis or as received?
